This is an older piece. Though it is a year old, I still love it above all other pictures. It is done with a Pen for the detail work. And with a sponge I blotted out the concrete background, and brushed the water under the Duck.
This is a pretty famous LIFE Magazine photo of some experimentation. I don't know what exactly is being experimented, and I really don't know if I want to know. But I find this is a great test of Morality. How some humans can do horrible things, some can stand by and watch, and others can stand up and take a stand. It is a very touchy subject and I think it is just a magnificent photograph. I just HAD to turn it into Drawing. And it gave me the excuse to experiment with mixed media. ink water sponge |
